Localisation of the Firefox Browser for Android. As more and more people use phone to connect to the internet, this is a critical project for localisation impact.
Translations are pushed every hour.
Sign-offs happen regularly.
Next merge day is August 7, 2017
Note: This project depends on some translations from the Firefox project. If you are doing Firefox for Android before Firefox, then please note that you also need to complete the androidshared goal in Firefox (this contains the strings shared between Firefox and Firefox for Android).
You also want to check if Mozilla can actually distribute your translated version via the Google app store before you invest all your time into these translations. Currently the only know issues are around font support (testing your translations on a device will expose any of these) and Right-to-Left issues (which the RTL taskforce is helping to resolve). Previous problem with language selection and three-letter ISO codes has been resolved.
Test the translation
To test your translation you can download the Nightly build that is created every day.
